The development department, in addition to the bulleted list below, oversees the Environment and Renovation departments.

• Direct and coordinate activities of Development Staff and evaluate their performance.
• Manage and oversee all Development activities.
• Reviews, ensures, and recommends as appropriate, the development Budget as needed.
• Maintains operations expenditures and monitors all development projects.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate general development of major projects, new building, and
  rehabilitation projects, new housing units and other assigned building projects.
